Rappa is a new addition to our herd and a future broodmare.
She is a 3yr Smokey brown mare and VERY well bred. (take a look
below if you don't believe me!) She has had about a week of riding on her
and proved to be real trainable with great movement, she should be a nice
reiner! At the moment we have kicked her out on pasture to do some more
growing but she will come back in a months time to pick up on her riding! I myself am very excited about this mare, she's a real looker and a sweet heart on top of it! We have had Rappa color tested, her results are E/E, A/a, Cr/cr and is heterozygous for the Seal Brown marker (At) so that means she is a Smoky Brown and homozygous black! no red foals out of this girl! and she also carries a cream gene! (Buckskins, smoky browns and smoky blacks)! So our color options for Rappa bred to a non-dilute stallion are, black, brown, bay, smokey black, smokey brown and buckskin! All that wrapped up in one NEAT little package! |
